We invite you to be, observe, listen, feel, try out, explore, experiment, reflect, coexist, share, sense, move, touch, breathe, play, stay present with the challenge, 

learn from within and from each other, get to know new people & ways & attitudes,

and create this experience together.

 

Let's explore and experiment together with activities and
methods which help us to raise environmental awareness and build supportive long lasting connections within the rich complexity of our ecosystems.


Go go Green! is a 7-day training course which aims to introduce and explore
green skills and ecologically oriented attitudes in our daily life and work through body, nature, movement, hands on and community based methods, understanding ecology as an awareness of relation-making on all levels – within ourselves, among humans, between humans and their multifaceted natural environment.

Who is   this training for?

This training is designed for youth workers, trainers, educators, NGO leaders, especially for those living and working in rural areas or developing environmentally oriented activities.

 

We aim to have overall number of  25 participants from 

Czech Republic, Slovenia, Italy, Romania, Latvia, Greece and France.

The participants must be over 18 years old and have a
communicative level of English language, so they can
participate fully in a program that will be held in English.

This training is    for youth workers who:

● want to explore and experiment with living in a community, daily care for themselves and the environment, body based methods, movement, dance, gardening, self-reflection and group sharing, 

 

● are open to sharing their own skills and learning the skills with others,

 

● want to use and imply the learned skills in their professional work with people,

 

● are motivated and willing to commit to work during the whole duration of the project (preparation, training course, follow-up activities)

The course will also have a strong component based on the sharing of ideas, opinions, experiences and best practices, so if you consider joining the training, start thinking of some activities, you would like to propose.

Practical information

 

 Where and when?

The training will happen from 3rd May (arrival) to 11th May 2022 (departure)in Larret 

immersed in the welcoming nature of the natural park La Dronne.

 

'Larret en Mouvements' is a living collective where a group of people coexists by sharing work, dance and daily life. At the same time the place is hosting short-term visitors, who come together to learn, share knowledge, experience, explore and inspire each other. They host courses, residential trainings, retreats and workshops, all based on ecology, dance, research and education. Larret has a unique human and natural environment, which is inspiring, nourishing and enriching.

 

The accommodation will be in shared rooms. There is also the possibility of camping.

The food will be vegetarian prepared by our cooks.

How to travel

To check your travel options, please look for connections that take you to the train station of Thiviers or La Coquille (closest transport hubs are Limoges, Perigueux, Bordeaux, Paris, Toulouse).

From there you will be further guided to the venue.

 

More detailed information about the travel arrangements to the venue will be provided to selected participants and will be assisted by the project coordinator.

Please, try to choose the most environmentally friendly form of transport e.g. bus or train.

Try to avoid short haul (<600 km) flights, and if you must fly, choose airlines with higher

occupancy rates and more efficient aircraft.
 

Note: Your travels cannot be further than 2 days before or after the training course.

Travel reimbursement

 

As well more detailed information about the travel reimbursement will be provided to selected participants and will be assisted by the project coordinator.

The travel costs of the participants will be refunded after the training
course usually within 6 - 8 weeks (after participants send all their travel documents etc.).


Maximum amounts:

France – 210 EUR

Czech Republic & Slovenia & Italy – 320 EUR 

 Romania & Latvia & Greece – 410 EUR / if taking a flight max. 360 EUR


ANYWAY, DON'T FORGET TO KEEP ALL YOUR TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND RECEIPTS,
we will need them to reimburse your transport!

Costs

Accommodation, food and training program are provided.
Travel costs will be reimbursed (more info above).

Participation contribution: 70 - 150 euro

(to be paid in cash upon arrival)

Money shouldnt be and obstacle for your participation.

Travel and health insurance

 

Health insurance will NOT be provided or reimbursed by the mobility
organizers. However, it is a mandatory requirement for all participants to
provide your own health insurance. This should cover you for the full
duration of your time in France.


Participants have to arrange their insurance conditions and provide us
with the details of it before they attend the training course, by sending
us a scanned copy.

Dietary, Health and Other special requiremnets


Please, inform us as soon as possible, if you have any food allergies or
special dietary requirements so that we can inform the caterers and find out if they have possibility to prepare meals that are suitable for you.

 

If you have any other allergies, need to take regular medications or

foresee a need for general medicines during your time in France

(for example bug spray, headache tablets, travel sickness pills, etc.)

please arrange these yourself as we are unable to provide them for you.


Likewise, if you have any health conditions, disabilities or mobility issues
that you feel we need to be aware of or that may affect your participation in
the training course activities, then please let us know what they are and
how best to assist you.​​

Antonio is a passionate trainer who loves to craft experiences for self development, group awareness, creative expression and pursuit of a wise and joyful freedom. He facilitates workshops, for teenagers, students, youth workers and adults, using and mixing his expertise and experiences from theatrical improvisation, contemporary dance, martial arts and contact improvisation.

Živa (SL)

 

Živa is a CI dancer, gardener, somatic practitioner and by nature a researcher of human relationships and their connections with nature. She facilitates dance labs, organizes events and in the last few years creates and manages Erasmus+ training courses. The base for her work and life is in expanding the self-awareness, fostering authentic expression, creating spaces for inclusive existence of diversity of species and in nurturing the connections between human and beyond-human forms of life. She has been living in Larret since its beginning.
